To look your best this year, it is important to keep the hair in your beard moisturized and shiny. However, it is also pertinent not to forget the skin that lies underneath.

What are essential oils?
An essential oil is a natural product extracted from a single plant species. Not all plants produce essential oils, and in the plants that do, the essential oil may be found in the roots, stems, leaves, flowers, or fruits.
What are carrier oils?
Carrier oils are typically vegetable oils that act as a base. Different than an essential oil, carrier oils derive from the fatty part of the plant, like the seeds or nuts. Since essential oils can be pretty powerful, carrier oils are often added to dilute the potent properties and make them suitable for the skin.

Organic Ingredients we utilize:

Carrier oils

Sweet virgin organic almond oil - is obtained from the dried kernel of the almond tree. Organic almond oil is a universal carrier oil used throughout the food nutritional supplement and cosmetic industries. The appearance of our organic almond oil is a clear light yellow liquid. It is considered a lightweight oil which is known to be rich in vitamin A E and B as well as Oleic (C18:1) and Linoleic (C18:2) essential fatty acids.
Argan Oil - Deodorized Virgin Organic, commonly referred to as Moroccan oil given its origin, is cold pressed extracted from the nuts of the argan tree (Argania spinosa), resulting in an oil with a pale yellow color and nutty flavor. The deodorization process helps temper the powerful natural aroma that our virgin organic argan oil carries. If you are looking for argan oil that maintains the natural emollient properties, but does not effect the aroma of the end product, then the deodorized option is the right choice for you. Both varieties are widely used throughout the cosmetic and personal care industries in the formulation of hair and skin beauty products.
Jojoba oil - is a unique oil known for its long chain monosaturated wax esters. Used widely in the personal care and cosmetic industries, golden organic jojoba oil is a filtered oil with a clear honey color and bland characteristic odor. Jojoba oil is one of the more stable oils and is known to be a good lubricant with excellent moisturizing ability.

Activated charcoal - Charcoal powder draws out toxins leaving your skin feeling clearer and refining pores. Great for use on acne

Beeswax - Beeswax is an exquisite substance that is secreted by worker honeybees. As a natural hydrating ingredient that increases essential moisture in the skin, it is commonly found in hand and body creams that help retain natural skin moisture and in the relief of itching from sensitive skin.

Coconut oil - This is a great oil for general moisturizing and serves as a protective layer, helping to retain the moisture in your skin.

Goats Milk -  Contains Alpha Hydroxy acids which help remove dead skin cells. Goat milk contains many vitamins, but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue, and maintain healthy skin.

Lanolin - Is used as a cream to soothe skin,  it has a deep moisturizing effect on skin and hair. Lanolin helps lock existing moisture into the skin and absorbs additional moisture from the air around it.

Mango Butter - Has natural emollient properties; it has traditionally been used in the rain forest and tropics for its moisturizing and smoothing properties. Mango butter is a great source of essential fatty acids, and has beneficial moisturizing properties for lotions and acts as a mild lubricant for the skin.

Shea Nut Butter - Shea nut butter is an extremely popular ingredient used throughout the cosmetic industry due to its highly effective emollient properties. It is used in the manufacturing of lotions, body butters, skin creams, bar soaps, among a number of makeup products such as lip balms. Shea nut butter is said to hydrate dry and cracked skin, and improve skin elasticity. It is all-natural and may be used topically all over the body.

Pinion Pine Resin - While resin has properties that make it beneficial to us, it’s primary purpose is maintaining the health of the tree. Resin is produced as a protective agent to seal physical wounds and create a barrier to infection by bacteria and fungus or invasion by insects. Resin produced in the tree’s cells are directed through ducts toward an injury and can flush and seal the wound, trap invaders, and act as an antimicrobial to eradicate them (Meyer, n.d.; Trapp & Croteau, 2001).
